The peplink is a browser-based menu driven device with a lot of options for auto switching back and forth between various connections. The device is also designed to load balance over multiple connections. The connections on UNOLS vessels have differing delay times which is sometimes problematic.
Peplink includes quite a few different algorithms for handling traffic across multiple connections at the same time, otherwise known as load balancing.
